Very strong truffle smell but there wasnโt much taste perhaps a blessing in disguise if not it would have been too surfeiting. Portion could be more as well.
Good: chicken was fatty and juicy. Bad: there's something off about the chicken. Curry is a boring choice but it turned out better than the truffle base.
Had a really enjoyable first visit, but this was a sharp decline. Although there were black truffle shavings, on a whole the udon had no truffle taste. Uni was obviously cheap, though to be fair this was around $20. Ikura was strong. One reason I rated Komadori highly was the service, and this time again they impressed me. As we had to wait a while for our food, they offered us complimentary drinks.
Overall this is a decent Don, the egg brings out the sweetness and portion are slightly smaller.. If they could have more rice to goes with will be nicer.
For the pricing 19.90 is abit expensive for a small piece of Una.
The portion is not very big for the price is abit on the high side, this dish has a strong Miso taste which wasn't too bad... Lucky it goes 1 for 1 with burpple which make it reasonable.
I enjoyed this ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ณ ๐๐ป๐ถ ๐๐ฑ๐ผ๐ป, however the portion leaned towards the smaller side. The highlight was undoubtedly the creamy and umami sauce; beef and udon were decent, but the sauce really helped to elevate the rest of the dish. Their inclusion of a free-flow salad and drinks bar was also very welcome. I would be tempted to return if I had a craving for interesting udon options.
