Portions were small but the taste made up for it! Both of us liked the salmon don more :-) Will defo be back for it :-)

Was surprised when we got there that they suddenly changed the menu and the food items applicable for Burpple. Now, you can only pick items on their “Allstar” set items page. This set cost $28 without GST, and you are still required to get the drink to get the Burpple offer. We got the $5 Calpico drinks, and everything cost $39 in total with GST. Though some items like the Milano Chicken and Demi Glacé Roasted Beef tasted nice, we felt that this new set was overall a little pricey and might not be as worth as when you could choose more items in the old menu. We used to come here often but may think twice about going back after this menu change.

The meats in both dishes were cooked really well, and both the black curry and demi glacé sauce were also very savoury. Couldn’t stop tasting the sauces even after finishing the beef.

Butter Milk was sweet and fragrant, the spicy popcorn chicken was leaning more towards the taste of mala. The set also came with two side dishes and soups (we chose egg tomato and seaweed). A meal value for dollar!

Bowl came with a generous amount of beef. Foe gras was delicious but only came in a tiny portion. Garlic crisps were a lovely complement to the entire dish. Portion was slightly small but still reasonable for 1-1 deal.

Very strong truffle smell but there wasn’t much taste perhaps a blessing in disguise if not it would have been too surfeiting. Portion could be more as well.

Got the garlic butter and truffle beef bowls. Delicious meal that comes with miso soup as well as matcha tea.

Delicious soup base which wasn’t too overpowering. Noodles were well cooked as well and the chili oil flakes were a nice complement.

Not a great fan of raw food so the Kaisendon was not so fantastic. The mentai tamago was also really small and sad. However, the miso soup tasted good as they had brewed the broth till it was really rich.

Extremely delicious! This is actually our 3rd time here. We’re only doing a review now because the past two times we were so focused on how delicious the food were we forgot to take a photo. Really recommend the dry Bak kut teh and soup was was really nice as well. The staff was really friendly as well and there were no hesitations in getting refills for their thick broth of BKT.
