Mix everything up to get a bowl of delicious spicy Udon!! Even though the tiny amount of chilli looks harmless, they do pack a punch! Enough to hurt the tongues of those who can only take slightly spicy food. This is most suitable for the mid-range spicy lovers. Super spicy lovers might not find it shiok enough. Only available until 13 Nov' 2016.

New Year menu features the Japanese chewy mochi at $2.50. Loved the soft marshmallow-y texture of the glutinous rice cake soaked in rich dashi sauce. The atsu atsu tan tan (spicy) udon is cooked al dente with an onsen egg and spicy minced meat. It was the perfect comfort food on this rainy day. The soboro don (minced meat rice bowl) didn't look much but it was actually really well marinated and moist! π
Tsuru-Koshi is famous for its silky Japanese udon, but the outlet at IMM also offers value-for-money bento sets. Please read my review at www.hungryghost.sg
Onsen egg ($1). Beautiful colour and texture, served cold with broth and soy sauce.
Cream soup udon ($9). The most unremarkable udon we had just now. Tasted like run of the mill cream base soup.
Atsu atsu tan tan udon ($9). Expected a much softer and smoother udon from a restaurant specializing in udon. Can't beat the best udon I had at a steamboat restaurant in Hong Kong.
