Tried out this place near my home recently. A hdb coffee shop converted into a western eatery, with aircon seating. No frills and very good prices. The hollandaise salmon and duck confit was really good for its price and was impressed with those two. Give the lamb chops a miss. And their normal western food (chicken chop etc) was okay and good if you're craving that! The sets and beer deals make a worth-it meal too!
It's hard to fathom why this air-conditioned space in Bedok was near empty on a Sunday evening. The service is efficient and earnest, and the honest cooking is a level up from regular coffeeshop western food stalls. I would visit often if I stayed in the area to eat this generous piece of perfectly pan-fried salmon slicked in tangy hollandaise - it's seriously a steal at $9.90.
This humble coffeeshop tucked away in Bedok North doesn't get much attention, but it should. There’s ample space to accommodate a large group of friends, it’s air-conditioned and nothing on the menu is over $19 — perfect for that big bunch of friends you've been wanting to meet for ages. What you must order is the Confit De Canard ($12.90) — a slow roasted, well-marinated duck leg cooked in duck fat, topped with mashed potatoes, leek and cranberry sauce. The meat is tender and the duck skin is crispy — what more can you ask for? Share a Waffles ($4) with Ice Cream (from $3.80 for one scoop) for a sweet finish and wash it all down with a cup of coffee (from $1.50).
Avg Price: $15 per person

If you're serving up cheap duck confit, there's bound to be comparisons to Saveur's version. I'm glad to say that Triple V's version does manage to stand up to it! 👏
Slight crisp on the surface and a very sizable portion of duck made for a very hearty meal. Coupled with the charred onion mashed potatoes, we were certainly full by the end of the meal! 😲
A roomy place, seems like a good gathering space for families and friends looking for an air conditioned meal location to chill at. 🙌
A gem in the mature Bedok North estate. Good for big groups, casual eats. Food is delicious at a surprisingly affordable price, especially the duck confit. Caffeine fix starts from $1.50. Give it a try when you are in the East.
