Oops! I cheated! Supposedly a clean meal but made sinful with Hakka 南乳肥猪肉!+1 sunny side up from leftover breakfast (ie. not ordered from the stall) but decided to add it in to up the protein intake

For a price of $4 you get a dish that cannot be found in most hawker centres. You get to choose either white rice/brown rice and the stall owner will pile beans, cabbage and a few other varieties of vegetables atop of it!! My favourite thing to do is to mix it all up and pour the tea into it! The soup here boasts of a robust and aromatic tea taste which is usually absent in the soups of thunder tea rice at other places (they tend to dilute the soup wayyyy too much).

Ordered brown rice at the price of $4. Very light and refreshing for breakfast

Yummy thunder tea rice! Although the vegetables were a tad too oily, at least drinking the soup kinda 'washed down' the greasiness 😌 It is reasonably priced at $3.50 per serving with white rice and $4 with brown rice. You could just buy the tea (aka "茶汤") alone for $1.50 too! 🍵✌🏼

I've patronised this stall several times, and the average waiting time on weekends (during lunch time) is around 30-40mins. Needless to say, coming on weekdays would be much better where it is not as crowded and the queues are way shorter.

Do note that their working hours are only from 6AM - 2:30PM, and they are closed on Mondays 🤗

The accompany tea (green) has a light herbal and nutty taste which I enjoy compared to some other stalls where I often left it aside (I don't like those with strong mint taste). #cuisineparadiseeatout #whati8today #burpple
