Charcoal-cooked Fish Head Steamboat that is rich in flavor and gives generous chunks of fish meat! Really love the soup, and also.. their other dishes which we ordered were good too, such as the Sambal Kang Kong and Prawn Paste Chicken!
Thought it would be a typical sambal seafood dish, but it had a surprising curry-like, garlicky flavour which was gr8888888. Though kinda oily :(
Ordered large for the first time, and the amount of yam they gave was INSANE (which I really don't mind anyway haha).
Good on a rainy day :) also they gave lots of yam this time, which I like, though the proportion of fish head is meh. Order the har cheong kai for super crispy juicy cheeeken
Pomfret Steamboat 斗鳁魚頭爐 (S$28/ Small)
Teochew style fishhead Steamboat. Filled with yam, cabbage, sour plum, sea weed, crispy plaice (a type of flat fish), fish and refillable tasty soup broth.

Don't try to find a table during peak hours. Order and pay first. The staffs will find one in the coffee shop. The worst they will open a new one for you.
