A nice crisp on the skin accompanied by a rustic smoky taste served with a generous serving of mashed potatoes. Meat was slightly dry on the inside..
Impromptu visit to this bistro after wandering around chinatown for quite some time. Was attracted by the $10 nett lunch special and i ordered the soft shell crab curry burger. The curry sauce was too mild to detect but overall it was delicious, perhaps I was too hungry at that time. The top-up of $3.50 for set meal was not worth at all as both the soup and ice lemonade were diluted. A return visit would be made for the mains at such affordable pricing!
Great set lunches at this place. Today's special was the Duck Confit, which pulled apart easily as expected. Skin could have been a little crispier though.
The prawns were succulent! The spaghetti was al dente & it was flavorful. You're able to taste the Tom yum & the spiciness kicked in really quickly. Prepare a drink to quench!
Down under the weather but does not stop me from munching on this luncheon fries at Rustic Bistro! They serve it piping hot at your table, you may request for mustard or garlic dip to go with it. I feel that it is a little dry though...
Simplicity is a blessed.. The chicken chop with rice was really a killer.. The chicken was all-marinated & cooked served with small portion of rice.. Though the pasta was abit disappointing.. Do try their truffle fries & lemonade when you are there.. :)
