This two-storey restaurant is made for dates β think dim lights and glasses that clink, preferably in twos. Marked by the TP seal of approval is the main of Cod's Gift. A gift from cod himself, cod itself! Pan-seared and topped with smoked caviar dressing, delicious mushroom fritters, asparagus and baby carrots in balsamic reduction.
There was a touch of truffle oil in there somewhere, which while helped lift the sides, worked against the smoked caviar. The black cod itself, pleasantly soft, smooth and redolent of the ocean's tastiest flavours. I may have also enjoyed the mushroom fritters a bit too much.
