I choose hot soba ($4.90) over cold soba, ingredients charged separately in ala crate. I felt that soup broth is not that salty even though its served hot. I choose basa fish fillet ($2.50), pumpkin ($1) and kakiage ($2.50). They did reheated some of fried items as I noticed that (probably they cooked some of fried items very early). Some of fried food items were quite crispy and crunchy but a lot of batter coated on fish fillet.
plain udon/soba bowls here start from $4.50 and prices vary depending on the tempura you choose. i also want to try their curry soba/udon but donât want to commit myself to a whole bowl. will come here again with someone else and psycho whoever to get their curry. and btw they also serve free flow tempura crumbs on the side!
Tempura Fuji serves up udon, soba and rice - all matched up with a variety of toppings, e.g. tempura, curry, onsen egg, etc. We went for a simple Wakame Soba, that was decent and nothing too out of the ordinary from what youâd expect. Itâs pretty similar to what you can whip up at home. I liked that the broth wasnât too salty and soba retained a good bite. Itâs a more affordable option when youâre craving for it!
by affordable, I mean each bowl of noodles here costs only $5-6 on average! we had the onsen egg soba which comes warm or cold. it was simple and good on its own, or you can also add on items from their variety of tempura. I would think the cold version is super appropriate for the weather these days!

thank you @tempurafujisg and @sgfoodiehoe for the hosted meal.
I've found another affordable and delicious bowl of Beef Rice Bowl ($6.90) and it is at Tempura Fuji at Food Republic Westgate.
This one's generously topped with thin, tender sliced beef and soft onions; you can't even see the rice from most angles anymore! I like that there is sauce that comes with the beef that soaks into the rice without making it too soggy nor salty, while value-adding to the overall flavour of the already delicious beef. Super worth the money, and I'd personally whack a generous serving of tempura bits into this - go ahead, judge me all you want. đ¤Ł

How often is it ever that you get really good Soba - hot or cold - that's both affordable ($4.90!!!) and at a food court?
Visited Tempura Fuji at Food Republic Westgate and was really impressed, especially by this very simple bowl. Had the dish cold and topped with an onsen egg; the soup is tasty and not too salty while the buckwheat noodles are easy on the bite and absorb the flavour of the soup pretty well. Pair this with some of their lovely tempura items, or have it on its own - it's that nice, honestly! đ¤¤
