really sad that they didn't wanted to make matcha fluffy pancake anymore when I went there around early may so I decided to order their popsicle woffle instead. I felt that their matcha taste really weird and grassy ? but I did asked the staff to put less on the whipping cream. But the woffle got really that crispy and chewy texture when served in hot. Need to wait for a while as it's being made to order for their waffle.

They ran out of maple syrup so we ordered this. Ours do not have any ice cream. The pancakes were wobbly and fluffy. However, i do not like that inside is mushy. I think this is personal preference issue.

Located within Alexandra Village Food Centre, SweetT.Rex serves up affordable made to order soufflé pancakes!

At $5, you get 2 fluffy pancakes served with a choice of syrup on the side. You can choose from either maple syrup, chocolate, strawberry or caramel.

We went for the simplest, which was maple to enjoy the pancakes on its own & with the added sweetness of the syrup.

The pancakes were wobbly, soft & extremely fluffy. It felt like we were eating sweet dollops of clouds with every mouthful.

Do note that there's a waiting time of about 15 minutes after you order! So while you're waiting, you could also go for their puddings, or basque burnt cheesecakes which looks equally delightful!

This is a very good deal, so cheap yet very fluffy and tastes good. (I think it’s even fluffier than the soufflé pancakes I’ve tried in some other cafes 🙊🙊). The vanilla ice cream goes well with the pancakes too. Not sure which brand they’re holding or whether it’s their own, but it’s also very good. Ordered a separate serving topped with chocolate syrup ☺️

Suggest to order as soon as you reach the hawker centre as queue can sometimes be long and the waiting time after ordering is around 20 minutes. Will be in time post your lunch 😉

Warm fluffy pockets of love, like floating on a cloud when these pillows touch your lips! Will definitely recommend the chocolate and caramel syrup combination for optimal enjoyment 🙂
