Swee Heng 1989 (Jurong East)

It's really pretty decent. Slightly salty, not very sweet, good ratio and not too dry

Their bun doesn't have the best texture but from the colour on top you can tell there's great caramelisation. The filling was delicious, it's smoother than normal but still has enough bite. Filling was reasonably ample as well

The normal red bean is 2nett, and I argue the top-up is very worth it as the red bean filling was toothsome

See the colour and u know it's well baked. There's the caramelised fragrance and the Kaya was full-bodied too, maybe slightly sweet and could be a tad more generous
