Not the best tasting, but always coming back to eat to your heart's content.

Theyโ€˜ve got your back!

Glutinous Rice with Chicken - S$3
๐Ÿ“: Swee Choon Tim Sum, Singapore

For late night dim sum until 6am! found their dim sum really tasty, reasonably priced and they also had a large variety of dishes and desserts to choose from. we ordered siew mai, har gao, carrot cake, chee cheong fun with prawn, prawn and banana fritters, fried beancurd skin with prawn, sweet potato ball with salted egg custard and coconut pudding. Queues can get long during peak hours, so be prepared to wait!

My fav Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bun ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ So good... Too good ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

Our lunch destination was closed today, so we went here again. Without a doubt, Swee Choon delivers quality dim sum but at a slightly price point.

Swee Choon is no stranger to many and I'm so glad that they're open for lunch now! ๐Ÿ™Œ However, their location is always a turn-off and I'm slightly upset at their lunch menu which offers limited selection :( Nonetheless, their quality and price are still maintained and here are just some worthy mentions:

โ€ข Zha Jiang Mian - bouncy noodles in a umami sauce ๐Ÿ‘ highly recommend to add their sambal chilli to bring the flavour up a notch
โ€ข Drunken Chicken - Tender yet firm chicken thigh infused with shaoxing wine, herbal-y yet refreshing
โ€ข Har gao - Plump and juicy, and I preferred this to their siewmai
โ€ข Deep-fried prawn beancurd roll - Similar to the har gao, very generous with the prawns and fried to a perfect crisp (though a bit oily)
โ€ข Xiao long bao - Flavourful minced pork checked, flowing soup checked, delicate skin checked, but the pleats on top were slightly thick

Shall have dinner here another time to get access to more items!!

Didnโ€™t suit my tastebuds: red bean paste pancake, century egg with tofu

Passed by this place everytime but didn't went to try it out. Finally gave it a try.

Dim sum were made to order. This is some serious eats. Taste way better than expected.

Will come again!

You've gotta be crazy if you don't like Swee Choon. Everyone claims that swee Choon is overrated but hey, their siew mais are to die for. Don't get me started on their prawn dumpling. We order Hor fun as well. Realllllly good. It was eggy and saucy that everyone was trying to slurp as much as they could out of the plate. Swee Choon is dim sum goals.

I must have not been to Swee Choon for long time. Didn't know that they are now open for lunch too.

Like a fried carrot cake but made with fried vermicelli, it had an appealing texture from the strands of soft Mee Suah, crispy outside and bouncy within.
Spanning over 4 shop spaces, the crowd at Swee Choon was consistent from dinner to supper hours, there to enjoy their wide range of Shanghai and HK Dim Sum.

When comes to midnight supper, sweechoon dim sum is always my top favourite supper place! Prices are reasonable! Atmosphere is also friendly! Most importantly, their dim sums are one of best i have tasted! Personally, i loved their custard bao and their prawn rolls! Prawn rolls are super smooth, the sauces that topped over the rolls are well balanced, mild salty and sweet! Custard Bao served is indeed not bad! Sweet with a hint of salted egg flavour! Super great place for group supper! Worth it!

First time trying gulab jamun which was superr sweet - even though I mentally prepared myself- and maybe for those that order 120% sugar for their bubble teas๐Ÿ˜…

Stomach growling in the middle of the night and craving for dim sum? On nights like these, Swee Choon is always my go-to supper place. ๐Ÿ˜‹

Subjecting to individual's preferences, I enjoyed the strong Chinese wine aroma and taste of the Drunken Chicken in Shaoxing Wine. If you are lucky like me, you might find the chicken jello sandwiched between the skin and the tender chicken meat. Shiok ah! ๐Ÿ˜—

Beancurd skin + crabstick + egg? They are food that I love eating but having them together as a steamed dim sum dish was my first time. The taste was expectedly and predictably nice. ๐Ÿ˜„

There might be some hits and misses but Swee Choon guarantees to be one of the supper places with wallet-friendly and quality dim sum. #BurppleSGLateNight

Been hearing about this place for quite some time so I headed down with my parents and girlfriend for some dim sum loving. Their high tech queueing system was a breeze and we didn't have to wait long for our table. The quality of the dim sum is pretty good and not too expensive (about $18 per person). Definitely worth checking out to soothe your cravings!
