The well-conceived combo of the soft tender unagi, fluffy tamago and crunchy cucumber slices gave a multi-dimensional mouthfeel to the Unagi Tamago sushi. While the Aburi Wagyu had a decadent mouthfeel, as the thinly-sliced wagyu meat wrapped around the rice boasts a smoky, tender and slightly chewy texture, which just melts in your mouth. .

They have recently launched a new menu with affordable set meals (which include rice or other options like cauliflower rice, garlic fried rice, or tonkotsu ramen) from $15.80 onwards, and comes with free-flow Japanese salad bar as well.
.
Be prepared to be spoilt for choice at their salad bar, which has 25 different items served daily. Not just limited to plain ol' lettuce and greens when it comes to 'salad', expect a variety of appetisers such as the Tuna Pasta Salad, Sweet Potato Salad and Soba Salad to satisfy your carb cravings.
.
Opt for the Kimchi Salad for a kick of spice. For something lighter, go for the Braised Raddish & Carrot Salad or the Harusame Salad. We loved the Kani Coleslaw, drenched in a light creamy mayo dressing that gives a subtle sweetness to the mix of crunchy fine-shredded raw cabbage and crab meat.

The thrill of 80Β’ restaurant sushi was so great that even the minimum order of quantity 2 per type of sushi didn't turn me off. But the quality wasn't amazing, so I'm not sure if I'd be back. Strange thing about this place is that they don't accept AMEX or NETS - the latter being stranger than the former to me.

Sinply because it melts in my mouth. In frame, the gyudon set ($20) which i reckon not as nice as it used to be. Despite the generous portion, the beef is slightly tough and dry and lacknof sauce, even the egg is slightly overcooked.
Have been eyeing to try this place after first spotting it in Vivo City! We went only for the $0.80 pieces which had a minimum order of 2 for each type, and I was pleasantly surprised to actually see hotate and surf clam among the list. Our orders came promptly all at one go and Iβve got to say that the wad of rice for each sushi was tiny. Youβve got to order quite a bit to fill yourself up! They don't have the best sushi around but have a really decent quality for the price. It's the place to go to when youβre looking to satisfy a small sushi craving on a budget. Also heard that the original Suntec outlet dishes out these sushi at a better quality, I will surely drop by to try one day!
Sushi Goshin is one of our favourite go-tos for that cheap and good sushi fix. Sake (salmon) was our favourite. So fresh it's sweet, with a slight bounce in the soft chew of the thick cut. With a tougher, coarser texture, the smoky char of your glistening Aburi sake combines with the rising fragrance of an enhancing furikake (dried fish, seaweed and sesame seeds seasoning). While they ran out of salmon belly it makes all the more reason for a revisit. Hotategai (scallop) is succulent sweet and lighter than the Aburi rendered, which clean taste is more fragrant with a drier, firm texture which I enjoyed more.

Quality fresh flavour engulfs as sashimi overlaps dainty-sized, hand-moulded sushi rice. Instead of machine pressed and cold, it gives your nigiri its pleasant chew. With a dab of wasabi and soy sauce, the flavours leave you complete.
.
Selected sushi are at $0.80/pc for promo with a min order of 2 each, reminding you of budget sushi belt joints. Yet as part of the Akashi group, Sushi Goshin exudes an upmarket vibe. Note however, NETS/Pay Wave/Apple Pay/Samsung Pay aren't accepted.
