Not bad but a little pricey ($11.90). Got real Alfredo cream inside.
Just as good as I remember it to be. $5.90 only. Shiok.
Came here on a late weekend afternoon and was surprised to still see a large queue and the venue at almost full capacity! Guess it was all the people looking for a teatime break after walking at Bukit Timah hill.
Plain prata ($1.10) π₯ 8/10
I love my fried goods CRISPY and this did not disappoint. Take note that if you want your pratas CRISPY and chewy inside, I'd advise you to just get the plain one and not the egg.
Chicken murtabak ($11) π 6/10
The murtabak is also quite flaky, although I must say that the tiny nubs of chicken that the cooks were so thoughtful as to spare us were wholly insufficient.
Teh tarik ($1.50) β 7/10
Very sweet and quite lacking in caffeine. That is all.
The quality of the pratas aside, everyone probably knows about this, but I love how they give you free flow of their piping hot and flavourful fish and chicken curries!
Brothers I tell you. After my ippt I almost died, pass only never get money but also almost passed out. Came here to get some re fuel cos shag out. Ate too much here cos never eat before ippt, the machix so kind to feed a fallen solider doing his duty to Singapore. Very crowded but when she saw me in ippt uniform she pitty. She saw my timing 15min... but pass she hug me and thanks me
Effort for the mango lassi art here. More brownie points for the ever awesome Springleaf
Poached egg, ham and hollandaise sauce worked wonders with the prata for me! I rarely have prata but this makes me crave for it. Poached egg done well, hollandaise sauce tasted mild and does not overpower the rest of the toppings. Prata itself has a crisp to it instead of being soggy or too oily. The price might seem steep for prata but I would say its worth it. Coupled with iced teh tarik makes it even more fulfilling
