Affordable coffeeshop food is quite a rare find in CBD! But circular road is littered with some of these pocket-friendly lunch options. This dry mee sua ($4) has a substantial amount of noodles &ingredients. The ikan bilis were extra crispy. Right amount of vinegar too!
Icing on top of the cake? The uncle is really friendly &humourous. Makes queuing in the warm afternoon alot more bearable.
Basically bak chor mee, except this stall specialises in using mee Sua instead of the usual meepok meekia etc. Quite average to me but seems to be popular with the office lunch crowd.
Bak Chor Mee Sua. Went to try this recommendation by @jermmms and I love it! The thin noodles are a little sticky with their dressing of vinegar and chilli, and when eaten in large mouthfuls with crispy ikan bilis and minced pork, it's just damn shiok. #noodles #bcm #meesua #bakchormee #pork #sgfood #foodporn #ilovemyjob
