Soup was strongly tasting of the Salted Veg, and while the pork slices were dry, everything else was v well cooked, esp the Intestines that were incredibly tender. Tho idk if it deserves a 30min queue, it's good but not that good.
Soup was sour but not to the point of unpleasantness, and there's a slight sweetness to it too. Chili was way too tangy, didnt like that at all
I got charged 8.5 for everything and if her math is right that means the pig Intestines are 4bucks? Abit too expensive though i have to admit i like their well balanced braising sauce and the large Intestines were incredibly well cooked, it's so tender it could pass off as a soy product.
Soup was well balanced, equal parts sour and salty. Generous helping of liver, stomach, intestines, lean meat and pork belly. Touch of salted vegetables added an old school touch to the soup. Cost of this soup is $6.
Fresh and expertly prepared ingredients from their assorted braised delights to their wonderful soup, this is one stall I always find myself returning to—especially on mornings when I’m severely hungover and in need of proper, nourishing comfort.
The body of their soup is robust and full-flavored with a strong pork flavour underscored beautifully with aromatics such as fried garlic, tomatoes and preserved vegetables.
Everything here was pretty darn good, and make sure you sit near the stall because you can top up that umami (from the salted veg) soup! Only issue was that the rice was sadly grainy, not shiok to eat even with the soup or sauce :/
