Highly recommend chinese spice for everything 😋
Cafe operated by a group of NTU students. Nice ambience, great variety of ingredients and very tasty mala collagen soup base!
Highly recommend their new soup base - beef broth mala soup base. Its more flavorful compared to the usual mala soup base. Will visit again!
This dish needs no introduction when you come to Jumbo restaurant. We ordered 12 mantous in total to pair with the super-delicious chilli crab! Top of that they also have monthly calendar 50% deals for members, and a 50% discount coupon this month!
Love the special minced meat gravy that goes well with the noodles and the ingredients. Flash your passion card to get Additional 10% off at Food Republic!
Excellent service, as usual.
Above image are half portions, except for kidney and it’s more than enough for 2 pax.
At L1, there is a takeaway counter which allows you to order and have your meal while waiting. However, you are not allowed to bring it up to the main dining hall at L2 when your number is being called. There was a short queue when we headed there on a Sunday afternoon. While waiting, we ordered the Condensed Milk Bun set and a Kagoshima-style Pork Cartilage Bun set ($18 for both).
We ordered the Mala and white soup base. Mala soup base pairs surprisingly well with the fresh cuts of lamb. White soup base makes for a nice and refreshing lamb soup after the hotpot. Although I would prefer not to order the lamb belly cut for the hotpot as it breaks up very easily in the soup during cooking.
Celebrated mom’s birthday over a crab feast! We ordered the black pepper, chilli and steamed crab. They are all equally goood.
Yummy handmade fishballs and dumplings! Generous servings and a good mix of the variety of ingredients. Like that they are generous with the meat in the dumpling. They also have a Ngoh Hiang stall at the side where you can order add ons to your noodles.
In picture: Minced Meat Kway Tiao ($4.50), Prawn Cracker and Tofu Skin ($2.30)
Fav lunch place & Was lucky to see a short queue today. Aunty is very generous with the ingredients! Highly recommend this hawker spot.
Came for lunch at Chinatown Point’s outlet and there was a short queue. The variety on the menu isn’t a lot but they do serve most of the essentials of a dimsum meal. Do try their specialty - the XO sauce steamed carrot cake, which comes with their special XO chilli sauce.
