We got 2 mains (fish & chips and red wine braised beef) + an iced latte.
- Fish & chips was extremely delish, batter beyond perfection and fish well cooked. It had a delicate taste to it as the fish they use is ‘hake fish’. It’s a 9/10!
- Red wine braised beef was excellent but just slightly salty to my tasting. The sauce was superb and dances well with every ingredient in the bowl.
- The coffee taste of the latte was strong and good too!
As we were too full after the meal, we got each of their doughnuts, a brownie and their signature pistachio burnt basque cheese
cake. Every pastry had their flavours bursting off the roof.
10/10 will be back and highly recommended to give it a visit!
One of the best scrambled eggs I have had. They were very fluffy and well made. Everything in the picture amounted up to around $70. It includes the ham and cheese toast, curry pasta w chicken katsu, truffle fries, and an iced hazelnut latte.
Although the food was good, the coffee could be better. The hazelnut was not very prominent. Other than that, good cafe, nice vibe. Would visit again
If you are feeling more adventurous, try their Not Your Grandma (NYG) Pancakes which was served with a dollop of Lao Gan Ma chili crisp atop a heap of pancakes! NGL I actually enjoyed the combo of LGM and maple syrup more than expected.🤪
Might have also found my favourite stuffed doughnut in their Charcoal Dalgonut! Y’all might be thinking the dalgona trend is so 2020, but this thing is one KOPI GAO BOMB! Beneath the sugar-dusted charcoal-hued surface was a soft & fluffy brioche with flowy and bittersweet espresso filling.
Recharging on weekends with a healthy dose of Omega 3 from the O M G Rosti at Sin & Savage @sinandsavage. The potato rosti was crispy and lightly seasoned while not too greasy, allowing the buttery flavour of the avocado slices and cured saltiness of the smoked salmon to stand out. I also enjoyed how sweet and juicy the cherry tomato confit was!
Came here for lunch on a Sunday with my church friend.
We both ordered the ALL TIME CLASSIC Potato Rosti
(with pork chipolata sausage, sunny eggs, confit cherry on vine and crème frâiche).
Rosti was crisp on the outside and was soft on the inside. The rosti was lightly seasoned.
Sausage were ok. Salty and soft.
Scrambled eggs were not bad. The menu stated sunny egg but we were served scrambled egg.
Cherry tomatoes were yummy and burst in your mouth.
Creme frâiche helped with the potato Rosti.
Overall not bad.
