Really good pizza! One of the service staff was really friendly and helpful! Pretty good experience here ◡̈ However, do call them in advance to check if their dishes for the 1-for-1 deals are available (I guess esp over the weekends). We got there only to find out that they had ran out of ingredients for all the dishes under the 1-for-1 deal
Along Nankin Row on Pickering Street sits this cafe & bar, perfect for an after-work hangout with colleagues. Specialising in Asian-fusion Western dishes, their Islandspices Chicken Rendang Nasi Lemak ($13.90) sees specialty coconut rice, tender chicken rendang, fluffy omelette topped with peanut ikan bilis and their signature sambal. Up the spice with their Sambal Pork Chop ($18.90) or share the Shelby's Signature Pizza ($24.90) — 10 inch pizza done Shelby style, with pork bacon and pepperoni infused into soft creamy cheese, topping off with a sunny side up smack in the middle.
Nice vibes for a chill out after work on a weekday, the China square area is relatively quiet. Unfortunately we waited a while for the food to arrive (more than 25 mins and huge gap between dishes) considering there were less than 20 people then and they only ordered bar snacks and drinks. They have a lunch set with similar options from $8.90 onwards with coffee. Aglio Olio, and side mesclun salad was flavorful. Beer battered fish was greasy and lack flavor although the portion was large. We gave our feedback hoping they will improve the recipe soon!
We also order gin and tonic, which was not on the menu ($15) - a tad too sweet for my husband. Service was excellent as the staff constantly comes back to check on us.
