I like we choose what we want to pair it with our briyani, it's like mixed rice concept.
The briyani quite flavorful, the quail eggs cooked with ikan bilis, the mutton is not gamey, and the curry is very light to balance the flavour.

The only stall with very long queue in Kopitiam North Point give us confidence that we should try their food. We queued about 5 mins and get served by their waiter who works diligently to sort out 3 orders.
.
We ordered ๐
๐ธ1 chicken Briyani 1 veg set $8.50.๐
๐ธ1 Boneless Mutton Briyani 1 veg Set $9.50.
๐ธ 1 Fish Briyani 1 veg set $8.00
With 3 potato cutlets ($2 each) ๐ฅ
It was a real feast & flavourful (we have curry gravy on top of rice for each set) and the Chili is sedap! A good value and even guys canโt finish their order so ladies do take note that this is a choice if you are really really hungry.
.
P.S. they give away poppadom for every Nasi Briyani set you ordered and need no instruction else they might put your poppadom on top of your curry (which become chewy quickly & not crispy anymore)๐ (Also they operate 2 branches the main branch is on Sembawang Road)
Almost everything was good here
-butter chicken & tikka chicken masala tasted quite similar so I would only order either of them next time. Probably the tikka.
-chicken masala: the sauce for this was amazing. More savoury and spicy compared to the above 2 which were more sweet
- fried cauliflower: Yum!
- palek pannier: average wouldn't order again
- papadum: nice
- garlic naan and butter naan: nice
- some soybean thing: nice
- some cutlet : was it fish and vegetarian? Regardless I like the flatter one and not the rounder one (both in pic above)
-lime soda: nice
Despite my previous review on their boneless mutton briyani being the best, the palak paneer didn't quite serve up to its briyani. The taste is still lacking quite a bit. The ones at Little India are much better.. one dish i wouldn't recommend here though. ($6.50)
My favourite briyani of all times. One meat, briyani rice and one vegetable at $7.50. Plus gst. Their boneless mutton is still the best. The sauce is just right, not too watery, the spicy level is just right for me as well. The meat and curry on the side goes very well with the briyani rice which is well-cooked too. The rice is crisp, and dry enough to go with the sauce and also fragrant. There are several choices for vegetable as well - cucumber and pineapple, cabbage, lady fingers, and lastly peas. Ice water charges at $0.30. I do prefer this outlet to the one at northpoint. There is a slight difference in the briyani rice.
If your meal is less than $20 and your payment mode is by card, there are addtl charges. Be sure to bring cash if you are spending less than $20.
