Back here to dine on the $17.90+ all-you-can-eat Korean Chicken plus BBQ Buffet excluding drinks. ππ₯ There's a strict 90-minute dining policy in place and a minimum of 2 pax. The buffet spread is basic, consisting of meats, fish, and sides.
The marination on the meats was decent, and the lettuce remained fresh, which was great. The other banchan were refreshing too. The Korean fried chicken, available in original, sweet soy, and spicy flavours, stood out with its crunchy skin and steaming hot interior, tasted like KFC chicken. π I like the spicy one the most.

An all-you-can-eat Korean Chicken plus BBQ Buffet that doesn't dent your wallet. There's a strict 90-minute dining policy in place. Went for the lunch session, priced at $17.90, reasonable for what's offered. The buffet spread is basic, encompassing meats, fish, and sides, surprisingly satisfying and filling.
The marination on the meats was decent, and the lettuce remained fresh, a commendable part of the meal. The other banchan were refreshing too. The Korean fried chicken stood out with its crisp exterior and steaming interior, hitting the mark although the batter kinda thick.
For digestion, we had Korean Barley Tea (Cold) at $4.90 per jug. The service was handled well, and the overall experience was decent.

Went to Seoul Kitchen at the end of Jan and had their BBQ Buffet ($19.90/pax) and added on a Seafood Pancake ($15.90)!π Food was pretty okay and its quite affordable!! Would'nt reco the seafood pancake though its p averageπ Overall ratings 7/10! Value for money but nothing fancy food wise!
PRICE: $15.90+ for lunch buffet
No GST
TIME LIMIT: 90 mins
REMARKS:
- Have to write our orders on a paper, pass to the staff and wait for them to take the ingredients/banchan for us. Luckily we went during lunch hour, not full house, staff were attentive
- Choice of 3 types of korean fried chicken
- Sadly didn't get to eat ice cream because we had passed the 90-minute limit. Bill was served immediately. Would be better if staff actually reminded us that our dining time would be up soon and asked if we'd like to be served our ice cream. We were not the only buffet diners who didn't get to eat the ice cream.
- The meats were well marinated and flavorful
- Shrimps are the only seafood option (on our lunch menu)
- Side dishes were nice
- Free refillable cold korean barley tea
WILL WE RETURN? It's our second buffet here. But will probably try the opposite rival shop next time for comparison.
Korean restaurant that served all you can eat, when diners can keep top up meats for 90 mins and free flow fried chicken. No wonder always crowded π
π°$19.9 for dinner and $15.9 for lunch.

Not too much a fan of buddae jiggae, as i have always felt that it is very much overpriced. I don't mind indulging in this once in a while especially since there aren't much choices for korean food in the north... still find it overpriced. The only consolation is that the place is not crowded and there is a homely feeling dining here...
One of the better sweet soy chicken in the north area, a pretty underrated korean place up in the north, and i did enjoy the peace away from the crowd on a friday evening. The wings were flavourful inside and outside which was a delight to taste, albeit less the authenticity of korean fried chicken. This versus 4 fingers, this.
Not quite the best Korean Fried Chicken around but a good option if you are talking about having some in the north (there is only a few names for Korean BBQ up here, a new 4 Fingers up at Northpoint and an Auntie Kim's just around the corner beside Seoul Chicken). Run by a couple of Koreans and visited by a few groups of Koreans, you do get a bit of the actual Korean vibes on Friday evenings where people gather at restaurants simply for fried chicken, stews and drink Korean Rice Wine or Hite Beer.
While the original was decent though not exactly fantastic with a slightly thicker batter, the spicy felt pretty shy of spiciness given its rather manageable level of spiciness even though the chicken pieces were covered in a good amount of thick, sticky sauce. Of the three flavours served in this platter, the Sweet Soy takes the cake for the savoury-sweet combination that works β flavourful and the chicken was well-drenched in that sticky awesomeness. Some places might have done better, but it's still pretty satiating for there isn't many options when it comes to Korean Fried Chicken in this part of the island.

Just a simple meal for 2, yet we could not finish especially the chicken in the soup.

Beware of the Chinese bespectacled staff who cannot make it and very bossy. Customers calling for attention, uncleared tables around yet she was busy rearranging chairs and ordering another to do that too.
Sorry to say that I preferred the services of the 2 Korean staffs.
