Havenโt had this in awhile! The charsiew was not overly sweet, sinfully fatty but so darn shiok, caramelisation gave it a nice crisp char; the siewyoke was very crispy and chicken was juicy and tender. The rice was fragrant, surprisingly good and fluffy though a tad oily. Comes with half an egg and braised tofu!

Roast Paradise has established a reputation as serving one of the best char siews in Singapore at their Old Airport Road Food Center outlet, and iโm glad to say that the standard at Lau Pa Sat is the same. The charred meats which were caramelised to perfection were very tender and were melt-in-your-mouth yummy!
They also offer a decent Roast Pork and Rose Essence Soya Sauce Chicken in their menu too. You can pair your meats with choice of their Hakka Noodles or rice (I personally prefer the noodles!).
Paid $7.50 for this plate.
Really great tasting roast meats.
Wish they could have given me more than 2 pieces of char siew, 3 pieces of roast pork and 4 pieces of chicken.
Also I would skip the chicken the next time.
Beautiful caramelization, too-much-fat, leading to joy mixed with regret. $56 for 400g char siew, 200g siew yoke, 1/2 rose soy chicken, rice / noodles for 4, and satisfaction.

And I'm so excited that they have opened a new outlet that is located within the CBD area (Lau Pa Sat) which is close to my workplace.

The Hakka style Noddle is served with savory stock sauce and topped with generous portions of minced meat and pork lards, tastes so good.
