Supper took a sinfully delicious turn with a plate of Yu Kong Hor (S) (RM 10), also known as Moonlight Hor Fun. Just take a look at how thick, dark, and saucy it is; it practically beckons you to dig in. This tantalising rice noodle gets its name from the vibrant, gooey raw egg that crowns it. The flavours are luxuriously rich and saucy, with a generous sprinkling of crispy pork lard for that extra indulgence. I couldn't resist slurping up every bit of it before calling it a night. 🌙🍽🤤

Acclaimed the best here but it was the worst. Too salty, runny, too much MSG. Don’t bother. Find something nicer out there.
This was super delicious and you can taste the wok hei and addition of crispy pork lard made it irresistible!
One of their recommended dishes. The steamed octopus can be eaten on its own. The chili dip gave it a different taste. The octopus was slightly crunchy and not mushy unlike other places.
One of the best restaurants in Ipoh. The Tauge was also perfectly cooked. Still crunchy and the sauce was just nice, not salty.
I especially love the wokhei from these 老字号kind of stalls! We tried the signature dishes here -moonlight hor fan (medium portion for RM 13) and baby octopus (RM 18)! The prices were so affordable and everything was delicious! Dinner companion was feeling mouth itchy, so we added an order of their new menu item - war tan fish noodle (RM10) 😄 this was essentially fishcake shaved in noodle form, so it was slightly weird for me.
