Unfortunately, our stomachs were quite full from the other dishes, and this one came out last. The meat was tender and soft, but the sauce didn't quite scream "Mongolian" to us; it tasted more like black pepper, with a strong pepper flavour.
While the salted egg exterior coating the chicken skin was delightful, the chicken meat inside was a bit disappointing. It seemed overcooked and turned out dry and tough, which was a letdown.
This one's a crispy delight! The pork belly is fatty, juicy, and thinly sliced for that extra crunch. The sauce is delicious and coats every piece perfectly.
Crunchy Kai Lan cooked with rolled yam offers a starchy and savoury combination that's delightful on the palate.
Fried rice is a staple to fill the stomach and complement the main dishes. Fragrant and savoury, it hits the spot.
If you're a mushroom lover, this dish is a dream come true. The noodles were cooked to al dente perfection and paired beautifully with the mushroomy sauce. It's a mushroom lover's delight!
A classic and safe dish to order, you can never go wrong with this one. Cooked with a superior stock, eggs, salted eggs, and century eggs, it's a comforting, savoury vegetable soup.
Oh damn, I might need to check my cholesterol after indulging in these gigantic prawns. They were absolutely delectable! The prawns had a satisfying crunch, and each one was filled with a rich, gooey, orangey goodness. The stir-fry style they used was brimming with umami flavours, meat was tender and shell was easy to peel.
Gathering with a large group means more food to taste, and trust me, we took full advantage of that! This restaurant is an absolute must for reservations; otherwise, you'll be left hunting for a table. Luckily, we booked early upon our arrival in Ipoh, and there was just one table left for us. So, let the feasting begin!

I felt like I had just emerged from an epic battle after dining at this dim sum establishment. From start to finish, it was a battlefield experience like no other.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a sizable queue at the entrance. To expedite our wait, we promptly provided our group size. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait long, as they seemed to prioritise seating based on the number of people in each party.
As we stepped inside, the atmosphere transformed from calm to chaotic, like entering a war zone. The intensity inside was palpable. Once we were seated and our behinds barely hit the chairs, we were suddenly bombarded from all directions by the servers brandishing trays of dim sum, eagerly inquiring about our choices. Each server had different dishes, making it a bit challenging to make selections. They encouraged quick decisions, given the rapid turnover of tables. So, we went with some classics and threw in a few random choices.
After delivering our selections, the servers vanished as if by magic. When we wanted to order more, we had to catch their attention amidst the chaos. Overall, the dim sum was quite delightful. I particularly enjoyed the Muah Chee and some of the deep-fried items. In terms of price, dishes ranged from RM 2.80 to RM 6.80, making it quite reasonable.
Everything unfolded so swiftly inside that it felt like the battle had started and ended in the blink of an eye. Nevertheless, it made for a memorable breakfast experience.

We were pleasantly surprised by its size; it came in an extra-large serving. The smoothie was expertly blended, delivering a comforting, yoghurty sweetness with a fruity twist. The sweet and tangy combination made quite an impression, and the presence of real fruit pieces was a pleasant surprise. Such great value!
A beautifully presented froyo resting atop charcoal waffles, adorned with slices of banana, succulent longan, crunchy nuts, and a drizzle of delectable sauces. It's a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds!
The waffles were something else – super duper chewy and thick, with a rich charcoal-infused flavour. The level of chewiness was intentional, and although I tend to lean more towards waffles with a crisp outer and a fluffy inner, I can appreciate the consistency in texture and the taste. Plus, it was surprisingly filling.
The Chocolate Froyo was delightful. It was infused with a strong chocolate flavour, delivering a chilled, sweet, and chocolatey sensation. No compromises on taste here! They certainly know how to craft exceptional froyo.
But it doesn't end there. With the addition of fresh fruits, crunchy nuts, and luscious sauces, the froyo becomes even more wonderful and exceptional than usual, spreading joy with every bite.
