To balance out the meaty indulgence, we ordered Achar (S)(RM 7), a sourish pickled vegetable medley. It offered a satisfying crunch, tangy and slightly spicy kick, making it a refreshing palate cleanser between bites of meat. It elevated the overall dining experience and kept us going for more.
We tried the Sesame Honey Chicken Chop (RM 7), and it was fairly tender and boneless for easy enjoyment. Although the outer coating tended to be a bit sticky, it was still a delightful addition to the meal.
We got the Meat Platter for 2 (RM 35) to sample their offerings. This glorious platter featured Roast Chicken, Roast Duck, Roast Pork, Char Siew, and Sausage. Ranking from best to good, Char Siew took the top spot, followed by Roast Duck and Roast Chicken, while the others were pretty standard.
For Char Siew, it's out of this world! Incredibly tender, it boasts an indescribable aroma, colour, and texture. It's both chewy and melt-in-your-mouth. The caramelised flavour is just perfect.
The Roast Duck impressed with its tender meat, carefully prepared to avoid any tough, gamey taste. It's wonderfully complemented by herbal notes.
The Roast Chicken sports glistening skin and succulent meat, with a hint of herbal goodness on the outside.
Meanwhile, the Roast Pork and Sausage were decent but not standouts. The roast pork had the right texture but lacked fragrance, and the sausage was just... well, a sausage.
When they boldly claim to have the best Char Siew in Malaysia, they aren't kidding. It's seriously scrumptious!

Surprisingly, the Rice (L)(RM 2) caught us off guard with its flavorful profile. This wasn't your typical plain white rice β it was bursting with flavour!
