For those who are fan of this wanton noodles place at the city centre of JB may realised their original spot at the corner shop has been closed down. So in case you don’t know, they actually moved out from this place to another place 10 mins ride away.
They are now located a Taman Sentosa continue to serve their signature wanton noodles. Available in both white and black version, which basically mean whether you want it to go with the dark sauce or not.
The white version is simple yet still tasty without the dark sauce. And I would say their char siew is the main highlight from the bowl, so fragrant and crispy. Wanton pieces are separated in the soup bowl.
RM9 as of February 2023. Easily one of the best wanton noodles I have ever tasted in my life. I will willingly queue for hours at customs just so that I can come over here to have this again.
Malaysian wanton mee basically differs from Singapore's this way: better noodle and seasoning, and worse ingredients. Here, like most places, uses a non-factory noodle rarely found in Singapore. Black refers to the soy sauce seasoning. Wantons were decent but char siew forgettable.

Never thought of pumpkins and barley as a drink, but when you think about it, this is no less obvious than green bean soup, just rarely seen in a kopitiam glass mug.
And here it was, as gorgeously colourful as it was tasty. The lime and sourplum we also had was even more refreshing, but nowhere as eye-catching as this #punkinsoup drink.
Kedai Kopi Xuu Yau, is the first place I went to since the border open. This little coffeeshop is just a short walk down south from the kastam near the famous Hiap Joo Bakery.🚶♂️
They sell delicious soul-satisfying Wonton Noodles that makes you just want to dabao back to give your family and friends. You can see many people buying at a great amount one shot.
Early bird catch the worm, and I'm glad I visited early to avoid the crowd later on that day. It was a pleasant experience.😁

Wantan Noodles(S/M/L)(RM 7/8/9)😋
Malaysian style wonton mee just hits different. It was on another level of taste and texture. This small simple looking bowl here holds excellent springy QQ egg noodles, caramelised sweet tender sliced char siew, crispy pork lard and fresh spring onion in homemade fine-tuned tasty black and spicy sauce. There is also an option for white style or without chilli.
Mixed the noodles well before eating. Then, enjoy the clean and savoury taste of noodles that soaked up the fine sauce.🥰
A mini bowl of wonton with wonderfully marinated meat and slippery smooth silky skin in flavourful soup was served together with the noodles.🤤
