Potato Corner (Funan)

Continuing my hunt for sweet potato balls in Singapore. Their rendition featured smaller, denser balls with a lightly crisp and chewy exterior, filled with creamy sweet potato paste. Quite different from the airy crisp ones from Taiwan.

Biting into them revealed a lovely surprise of opposite colour filling. I.e., purple ones contained creamy yellow sweet potato whilst yellow ones are filled with sweeter purple potato. Addictive bites that make for a great snack!

Snagged this via HSBC Entertainer 1-for-1 and it was such a surprisingly good find?? Did not expect how addictive and actual intensity of flavour for the creamy truffle fries, although sour cream & onion was a little lacklustre in comparison. Popcorn chicken and fries were both so so crispy and hot and toasty and they definitely did not scrimp on the seasoning 🤤🤤 So so satisfying as an afternoon snack and something I might actually crave for 🐽🐽

Bought 2 mega fries with the Burpple Beyond deal. What a great deal. Well coated and great flavour. Tried the onion and sour cream, as well as the truffle flavoured fries. At less than $6 for 2, can satiate any fries craving.

Bought this instead of eating a proper meal to try and eat less but ended up eating another 2 cups anyways, them juicy🤪💦 fries didn’t stand a chance against my relentless appetite and we proceeded to endeavour in the mysteries of the wondrous flavours on this planet. 10/10 so like average. -f

I'm a die-hard cheese fans and this Cheese-flavoured fries, which is almost like a comforting version of cheese rings really got me hooked!

I love the fries from Potato Corner, because EVERY SINGLE FRY is thickly coated with the seasoning powder, thanks to a special “shaking” method used to coat the fries and that ensures that the seasoning is evenly distributed.

Their fries also conveniently come in 5 different serving sizes, which range from Large that’s perfect for those who just want a snack, to the monstrous Tera, which can almost feed a family of 4.

This is one addictive FRY!

Come by this kiosk in Funan Mall for satisfying, tasty snacks from the Philippines. Go straight for their Jumbo Sour Cream Fries ($4.30) for a tub of well-seasoned and flavourful French fries, or opt for their fragrant Truffle Fries ($4.30). Warning: they are extremely addictive!
