Renowned? One of the worst penyet I've eaten. Granted, I don't like breast meat, but this wasn't "smashed" and not even battered. There's also no crisps and tempeh. The rice was confusing as it kinda had flavour but wasn't chicken rice. If anything deserved mention, it's the chilli.
The ayam penyet is deep fried without any batter.
