This British bistro and bar located on Changi Road serves meaty breakfast platters and stuffed-to-the-brim burritos for a scrumptious brunch. Munch on their in-house specials such as their all-day breakfast: Pig Breakfast ($19.90) and Rosti, Egg, Bacon N Sausage ($12.90); the Steak N Ale Pie ($18.90) which sees slow roasted beef in ale with crisp flakey pastry top served with fries, Free Range Bone in Pork Chop ($22.90), Beer Battered Hoki N Chips ($18.90), and the Black & Bleu Burger ($18.90). You can also order up a wide array of bottled beer, cider, wine, cocktails and liquors there!

Excellent dinner, to celebrate the weekend. The true test of a restaurant is the quality of their coleslaw (this one was really good). The fish was delicious, fried to perfection.

Little-known gem at Joo Chiat. Came on a date on a Saturday evening and it was quite empty. However, the food was really good. Paired this Chicken Karaage with the wine - well fried and not too oily.

Do not judge their food by photos, the place is too dimly lit (but quiet and cosy) for any decent photos. Surprised by how good the food here is! Lasagne was just delicious and the garlic bread was very fragrant. Fish was fried to perfection and so crispy and yummy. Portions generous, good service, nice music, affordable price. Will be back again to try the beers!
