Old School Delights (Esplanade Mall)

Okay honestly it’s pricier than usual but this Laksa was very tasty with the broth being slightly thicker! Loved the broth and ended up slurping most of it up!

Both dishes were well done. The chicken is perfectly grilled with tender meat. Fish has a light crispy skin. Accompanied with fresh vegetables and crispy fries, it was quite a delight.

Thanks Burpple beyond for the 1 for 1 deal. The chicken chop was tender and well grilled. Not sure if they made the sauce in house but it was very well done, the right amount of black pepper taste without being too creamy or watery.

Freshly fried French fries served with fresh tomato and cucumber.

Half a fish and chips was really half.

Crispy on the outside with hot tender fish meat within. However, the amount of meat within is a little underwhelming.

Delicious local dishes in an old school setting. We got the laksa, bryani and otah. The food came in decent portions as well!

Besides cheap and tasty food, we could play old-school games too. We were seated in canteen style tables, felt like going back to school again. Glad the kids had fun playing, a good distraction from the gadgets. Laksa has cockles, yay! Prices are below $10/bowl and 1-1 deals available too.
