Served with wonton and chicken slices. Smooth noodles and flavourful broth.
Noodles were good but dark sauce too sweet for my taste.
š· In frame: ā£ Asam Laksaā£ ā£
āØ This bowl of tantalizingly hot goodness definitely satisfied my craving for asam laksa. Much to my delight, it came with plenty of har kou, or prawn paste. Every mouthful was jam-packed with ingredients. Rest assured, my mother, sister, and I downed the noodles with ease. ā£

š¬ I'd say nothing beats the asam laksa I get from my local pasar tani, though. I reckon it's mainly because of its nostalgic factor š
Packed and hot as usual but prawn noodle is the must!
The Penang version is eaten with a sweet hae koh (shrimp paste) sauce. Itās an acquired taste, one Iāve grown to like over the years. Topped with freshly fried shallots and sesame seeds, Iād have this any day over eggs and bacon for brekkie.
Had to exercise some restraint as we had all piled up some weight post Taipei. Swipe to see the full range of YTF that is available at this stall here. Super popular and always packed at this coffee shop.
