Got a big chunk of red bean on top the ice, plus chewy rice cakes above it, and a few injeolmi as well.

One thing I like with Nunsongyee’s bingsu (not just this flavor) is it doesn’t come too sweet, unlike some other brands I’ve tried. :)

Outlet exclusive aka only found at Midtown’s Nunsongyee! Comes with thai milk tea instead of condensed milk. Love the combination of milk tea, milk tea ice cream, rice cake (need to buy separately) and cheese cake! (+ the bingsu of course) Pricey but worth the money 😋

Tuck away in a corner of Hougang, the newly opened Nunsongyee located at The Midtown, serving a wide variety of Bingsu, ranging from the classics Pat Bingsu to some exotic yet interesting and unique flavours was my first stop for dessert. They have many outlets located across the island, this one was their newly opened one. When I arrived, I decided to order their Thai Milk Tea Bingsu, which was their promotional item at that time. The place was relatively small, capable of sitting around 20 people, so if you want to come and enjoy their Bingsu, do come early as it may be pack. The wait for the Bingsu was relatively okay. When my Bingsu arrived, all I wanted to do was to dive into the Bingsu, as it was covered with a generous amount of nuts and the ice cream on top was huge! The sauce was also quite unique as it was not the normal condense milk you would usually get. The ice cream was very nice as it has the right balance of sweetness with the flavour of the Thai Tea. The cake was also very nice as it was fluffy and cheesy. The cake was slightly too sweet for me, but I am sure for people with a sweet tooth, it is just nice. The nuts were also a nice mix with the crushed ice and Thai milk tea. Overall, the Bingsu was very nice as all the components in the Bingsu worked well with each other, I guess the only downside of this Bingsu is that it is on the pricy end, but I would say it is value for money. So what are you waiting for! Come down and visit NunSongYee.

Situated at Midtown Residence, a stone throw away from Hougang Mall, this thai milk tea bingsu is exclusively only to this outlet.
Topped with a scoop of thai tea icecream and crushed peanuts, the bingsu may look ordinary at first but as you dig deeper, the crushed digestives biscuits brought the flavours up a notch.

Combining two hot Korean and Thai items, the Thai Milk Tea Bingsu is developed exclusively for the Hougang Nunsongyee store at Midtown (former Hougang Plaza)

The dessert contained Thai Tea ice cream topped on cheese cake, with peanuts layered over shaved milk.

A small cup of specially-concocted Thai Milk Tea would be given to pour over should you find it not sweet enough.

A dreamy flavour union with the potency of a good, full-bodied Thai milk tea without the usual throatly effects experienced when you encounter a strong tea, courtesy of the milkiness of Nunsongyee's signature shaved ice, which makes for a glorious snowy canvas for the Thai milk tea flavour – both ice cream and sauce – to set forth its militant tea agenda to maximum potential. Quite possibly my favourite Nunsongyee bingsu yet. 4.1/5

P.S. Aren't the production values and pour shot abilities on display of the utmost sophistication?
