'Swicy' means sweet and spicy. But it was no kick of tasty for me, probably because I enjoy eating their 'Freaking Hot' chickens. This was sweet and not bad, but not for someone who loves spicy food. It comes along with cold corn salad which has crab meats. Looks yummy but meh. Loveee their curly fries. Also, do take note that they do not serve Chilli sauce.
NeNe Chicken is a popular Korean fried chicken restaurant in South Korea and it is also available in Singapore. Please read my review at www.hungryghost.sg
The flavours of the sauce, skin and tender meat blend together so well! It's really value-for-money and makes a good meal when you're hungry and dining alone.

Worth your calories? It's fried chicken, enough said.
(But if you're still in the midst of hardcore mugging for finals and need something to perk you up, this is worth it for sure ππ»)

Price: 18 wings and drumlets at $22.90. Verdict: recommended.
Wings in bugolgi sauce can't go quite wrong and indeed this particular dish served by nene chicken met expectations. The chicken meat was tender and the bugolgi sauce was well-mixed. My only gripe with this is probably the waiting time and the lack of seats. Nene chicken at start vista is an extremely small outlet with only about 4-5 tables. So if u r looking to enjoy a meal comfortably and have a prolonged catchup with ur friend over meal, you might want to look elsewhere.
Unfortunately we made the mistake of ordering their honey mustard sauce, which was essentially a whole fried chicken served with honey mustard dipping by the side. This lead to the chicken tasting like an upgraded version of KFC, having all the crispness without the excessive oil and fat. For the terrible dining experience, I would say you might be better off eating at other Korean chicken places. Priced at $22.90
It's not easy to stand out amongst the crowd with the increase in Korean chicken joints. Since Nene Chicken is primarily a fast food joint, I was hoping for a quick and fuss-free experience. Unfortunately, service was slow, and the staff were nonchalant. Finding a seat in their cramped premises is near impossible. And we waited for a good half an hour before our chicken got served. Nevertheless, the chicken was its saving grace. The wings were cooked perfectly, the meat tender and falling off the bone. The bulgogi sauce was a winner, and gave the chicken its distinctive Korean flavour. It was sweet, slightly tangy, and not that spicy. Those looking for more kick should go for their spicier sauces. My main gripe was that the chicken was not the crispy kind, which I guess could amount to a personal preference. 18 wings and drumlets are given, which makes it a better deal in my opinion as compared to Chir Chir which can cost up to $30. This was priced at $22.90
Korean fried chicken, fast food style. Ordered the whole chicken which came at a whopping price of $22. Chose the honey mustard sauce which didn't really go well with the chicken. Chicken meat was moist and succulent! Didn't like the bulgogi wings and sticks as the chicken didn't taste as fresh. This outlet is really small, and we waited almost half an hour for the food to come. Not recommended for the price and atmosphere.
9.9 for one set. Only problem is that the place is too small but generally worths going
3 flavours: spicy, spring green onions, cheese. I like spring green onions ones best!
NeNe Chicken. In Korean, it means "Yes yes." What were u thinking?
$21.50, with swicy sauce & 2 sides special delivery cos I'm having exams yay!
First time trying Nene chicken. Recommended by staff to try the original flavour as their signature sauce would be packed separately, so I can get to try its original taste as well as the swicy (sweet and spicy) one. Love how the takeaway box facilitates eating with a plastic glove to keep your hands unsoiled and a pack of wet-wipes to clean up after. Tender chicken and fries are like straight cut version of A&W curly fries.
Swicy chicken ($8.90 for 2 pieces), chose black sesame for the tender super meal. Both includes buffalo sticks (rly skinny fries), pickled radish, drinks. Still prefer 4fingers though! But yupp the sauces were really nice especially swicy (sweet and supposedly mildly spicy la)
My personal favourite: spring onion chicken tenders. Love the tangy sauce & crunch with the spring onions. I heart spring onions!
Yst at NENE with bestie. I swear I'm never going to go back there again @misscatherinel
Late lunch with @spasmhz before repairing my laptop at nenechicken. Snowy cheesy chicken has a too overpowering cheese after taste but eating the whole meal is really worthwhile.
