Braised pork mee hoon kueh @ $6.50
One of the stalls that has got no queue, and unfortunately for them, it's between two stalls that have got very long queue.
The mee hoon kueh itself is quite average and a bit too sticky for my liking. But the braised pork is good with very good proportion of fatty meat and lean meat.
Saw a post from sep that for the same dish it was $5.80? Quite a significant price increase just after 2-3 weeks.
Unlikely to try again especially given there are so many better food stalls and also other places in the area.
This is quite a unique flavour that I've never seen elsewhere. Got the chicken cutlet and cheeseball option (there's also a choice of fish). Also upgraded my mee hoon kueh to spinach flavour FOC. The tomato combination works well and the sweetness from the fresh cherry tomatoes stand out. This fusion dish deserve a try and extra brownie points for the cheeseballs, which were literally bursting with fillings (also sold individually as side) ๐
Was impressed by the pork belly that came with this MHK. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a good fat-to-meat ratio. Haven't had such good braised pork in a while. I'd recommend ordering this dish if you visit. Not to be missed! ๐ฅบ
Ordered this side because it sounded special. Crabmeat and fish paste wrapped in dumpling skin. The zesty topping helped in adding some flavour to the dumplings, but I'd wished that the skin is thinner

Of the 2 zhnged up versions that we tried, my favourite one is the Braised Pork MHK โ I love that the meat is soft and pretty tender, and drenched in a sweet sauce that goes surprisingly well with their homemade mee hoon kueh! Iโd also recommend getting their Chicken Floss Fried Seafood Tofu too โ the combination of chicken floss, sweet sauce and crispiness from the fried tofu all came together harmoniously to form a yummy side dish! Overall, I feel this is a decent option to check out if youโre nearby and want to try something different from the usual!
They are currently available for takeaway, self pick-up and delivery via GrabFood and foodpanda. (P.S. pics were taken when dine in was still allowed before the current P2HA)
Donโt we all crave for a comforting bowl of slurp-worthy Mee Hoon Kueh once in awhile? @mrmeehoonkueh is here to elevate our hawker experience with their Traditional and Fusion Mee Hoon Kueh!
I decided to give their unique MHK creations a try, namely ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ค๐๐ง and ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐๐๐. With a choice between original and spinach MHK, my version of @mrmeehoonkueh ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐๐๐ consists of traditional MHK poured over a generous amount of gravy with tender and juicy braised pork, whereas ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ค๐๐ง consists of spinach MHK with bolognese sauce and topped with cheese balls and chicken cutlet. I really like their innovative creations here as they infuse a twist of fun and excitement into the otherwise traditional MHK. Personally for me, thereโs not much difference in terms of taste and texture between the original and spinach MHK, both were chewy with a good bite to it. However, one thing to note if youโre ordering the dry version is that the MHK were pretty dry and lumpy.
Apart from MHK, they offer tasty sides such as ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ค๐๐ง ๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐๐ฎ, ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ and ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐ง๐๐ข๐ฌ๐. I highly recommend their Chicken Floss Fried Seafood Tofu!
