This is the second Burmese eatery we tried in Peninsula Plaza. Last time we tried Yanant Thit restaurant. Both restaurants are kind of hole-in-the-wall places that is always packed at lunch time.👌😉

We ordered the customised bowl of tea leaves salad (one of famous Burmese dishes) sans peanut. The salad is still crunchy with broad beans & fried shrimp. The fermented tea leaves are so fragrant and naturally caffeinated that we are so alerted now!! 😳

Other items we tried in this eatery are spicy fried bitter gourd, preserved mango salad, bamboo shoot, chicken with potato & spicy lentil. The first 2 dishes are not blowing us away compared to the latter dishes and the tea leaves salad though. The total bill comes at $23 (incl. 2 rice, 2 soup & 1 yoghurt drink)
