Their teriyaki sauce was really good, high fidelity to the one my buddy's mom made which was the best I've had so far during exchange in japan. Full bodied and has a sweet slant, but not too much.

The cook on it was great as well, caramelised on some parts.

However, the meat was slightly dry and the brine didn't penetrate into the meat. Overall decent if slightly expensive

There's a yuzu paste on it, which I wasn't the biggest fan of as the centre was tasteless. Really soft mushy texture. Probably get Shio though because the teriyaki sauce would be weird with the yuzu paste

All in all, the meal was satisfying but has got both hits and misses. Special mention goes out to their Fried Cheese, which features Aged Cheddar coated with mildly sweet crispy sesame batter, finished with a drizzle of thyme honey! Please finish them all while they are still hot!

I had hummus, pita bread & beef & pork yakitori with a delicious hazelnut beer. The yakitori is seriously good - not cheap but the meat is perfectly seasoned & cooked and not chewy (most place don’t place enough care).

Great place to chill on a lazy afternoon.
