Indulged in this assorted sashimi don, featuring amaebi, topped with ikura
And yes, again, I am so glad we have chanced upon Meshiya. All the sashimi slices were surprisingly fresh, though slightly thin. And the amaebi (!!!) is really really good that we had to do seconds!

So glad to have found this hidden gem in Everton Park!
This don has fresh salmon sashimi, better than what I expected for some hole in the wall place. The ikura on top were also very plump and fresh
Dish is quite affordable for its quality 👌🏻

Found this hole in the wall Japanese place in Everton. Food came fast shortly after I paid at the cashier. Pictured here is the Aburi Salmon Don ($13.80), was pleasantly surprised to see sashimi added on as a garnish rose. The salmon slices were ok (not the most fantastic) but I would give this place a second try for the other options! The Chawanmushi ($2.80) was good!
This modest rice bowl consisted of a generous serving of deep-fried tempura shrimps and vegetables. Perhaps not a ten out of ten-don but it was satisfying and the tempura were light and crispy without being greasy.
