Got strong taste and quite soft texture for Earl Grey cheesecake tbh
As a general rule, I don't like cheesecakes. What set this apart was it's not as sour and there's a substantial Castella fragrance. I would eat a second helping.
I first tried Meruto Cheesecake (Original, $8) as a gift. Loved it so much that I bought more thereafter to share with others - Pandan ($8) & Matcha Green Tea ($9). The texture is the same for all, no matter what flavour it is. Light & fluffy & most importantly (for me) not too sweet.
My favourite is the original, then the Matcha, & lastly the Pandan. I just feel that the other flavours clash with the natural cheese flavour that is so subtle & delicious. It's a little confusing to eat.
There also is a Cookie flavoured one, which I did not try. But I'm quite inclined to stick to the very yummy original!
You can contact their store at 8612 2205 to enquire about what flavours are left or if you wish to reserve any. I actually told them I'd collect it from 12-1PM & I was running late.. Got a call at 1:10PM (when I almost reached haha) as a gentle reminder - I think that's pretty good service?
Put it in the fridge if you don't eat it immediately - 'tis good for 3 days, but honestly I'm quite sure it'll be all gone before the 3rd day lah π
The store is very inconspicuous - unit number is #01-3663 if that helps anyone. If you're parking your car, park as far from the entrance as you can to minimise walking distance.

Neighbourhood Japanese cheesecake that was harshly criticised by my dear friends... honestly for myself the cake was super fluffy and airy, and it immediately melts in your mouth (resulting in my friends tasting and eating βnothingβ π). I do agree that the cheesecake taste was super subtle but it wasnt βnothingβ!
But for the price point and its location in the heartland, I think itβs justifiable HAHHA I will definitely eat it again but will I buy again...mmm BUT thumbs up to the packaging!!!!
