Wow this is made from semolina and almond flour.

Taste buttery and fluffy. Yum.

Visited this peranakan-eurasian place coz a colleague wanted to try. Set includes a drink and dessert of the day. Pork was tender and juicy while the assam wasn't overpowering either. Go try!

Pretty hidden place behind bendeemer mrt station.

Ordered the Chicken Buah Keluak and Pork Pong Teh without rice ($8). They are pretty tasty.

It’s not easy to eat there though: it’s only open on weekdays for a few hours, and the menu is small. So you get whatever you get.
Luckily, whatever you get, chances are that it’s going to be good.
I turned up on a day it served a chicken chop and a beef stew. Both were excellent!
The staples were great too: sugee cake, chicken curry (not in pic), meat sandwich (name I forgot).
If you ran out of lunch option and am in the mood to explore, and you’re near the Downtown line (a short walk from Bendemeer MRT), go now!!!

First time at Mary's Kafe (stone's throw from Bendemeer MRT) and definitely won't be my last! Hearty, homely #Eurasian fare in a cosy space, and at affordable prices. Really enjoyed the Curry Chicken and Beef Stew today - lunch sets are priced at $8.50, comes with side veg, choice of drink and dessert of the day. 👌
And if you're lucky, be sure to snag one, or two, of her wonderful Sugee cake! 😍😍
