Any Kind of Rice
Visited this peranakan-eurasian place coz a colleague wanted to try. Set includes a drink and dessert of the day. Pork was tender and juicy while the assam wasn't overpowering either. Go try!
Visited this place as we found it featured in the promotions section of the app. The place was not easy to find as it was situated inside a new shop house area on West Coast Drive.
But I'm glad we went to try this! The food was tasty and refreshing as they attempt to reinvent the legendary Nasi Lemak. Served with vegetable, prawn and egg tempura surrounding the very fragrant coconut rice. Request for the coco mayo sauce as it is imho the best sauce there to go with their tempura. The sambal packs a serious punch; a must try for chilli lovers I would say.
Kudos for offering something fresh that is actually good! š
Nothing mind-blowing but a solid bowl of braised pork rice nonetheless.
Solid plate of no-nonsense nasi lemak but damn the fried chicken; crispy and so flavourful. I would go back to eat just for the chicken. Highly recommend. š
Man where do I start.. If you ever take a bus pass this place, alight immediately for this heavenly mango sticky rice. š
Tantalising curry rice at $3.40 (veggie, pork cutlet and egg). Several gravies used to create a powerful scent of curry blanketed the rice too! š
This combo never fails especially when the tender char siew and crispy roasted meat blends with the tasty and flavourful gravy all over the rice! At just $4.5 with a whole egg, this serves up as a yummy and affordable meal! Thumbs up for Uncle's good service too. š
Don't be deceived by the messy appearance. This is THE curry rice. $3.40 for chicken cutlet, cabbage and fried egg with the ever overflowing gravy!! Must eat, people!!
