Visited Market Bistro for a weekday dinner date with my partner and was pleasantly surprised by the food and service! I was quite impressed by how quickly they were able to serve our dishes - think it only took them 10 minutes or so to dish out our appetizer. The staff who took our order was also very attentive to us, offering recommendations to us and constantly topping up our water when we were close to finishing our drink.

For the food, the Burrata had to be my favorite. I loved the balsamic caviar that topped the cheese, giving the starter a good balance of creamy and tangy flavour profiles.

My duck confit was yummy too, with its skin crispy and flavourful. The meat was tender, and they gave a lot of mushrooms as a side too.

We ended our meal with Tiramisu for dessert, and again they were very generous with the coffee liqueur, such that you could see the coffee oozing out of the dessert each time you cut into it to take a bite.

Overall I really enjoyed the dinner at Market Bistro and would drop by again if I am nearby for a meal :)

Had dinner with my partner on a Tuesday night.

Service was really efficient, our food arrived in under 10 minutes after ordering. I had the ribeye, which was nicely seasoned and came with generous portions of sides. Everything was well-cooked and satisfying, especially considering the reasonable prices. Was really full after this too

My partner had the duck confit. The duck was tender and cooked well. it was also served over a silky mashed potato with a creamy sauce that brought everything together beautifully.

Verdict:
A cosy and comfortable bistro offering well prepared dishes at good value. Ideal for casual get-togethers or a laid back meal. Worth a visit if you are around the area.

A standout spot for steakhouse favourites and shareable dishes—loved the Burrata with balsamic caviar, the perfectly medium-rare Ribeye with crisp fries, and the indulgent Crab & Seafood Bisque pasta. The Tiramisu was a satisfying finish with bold yet balanced flavours.

I heard good reviews about this place from my friends who work in the Marina Bay Financial Area.

Decided to give it a try after a meeting in the area.

I got the 36 South Grass Fed Ribeye, which came with house-made chimchurri, shoestring fries, and a serving of salad. I believe that the seasoning of fries is often overlooked in restaurants looking to serve a good plate of steak and fries, but I believe Market Bistro did an excellent job with the fries. The fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection.

The ribeye came with a thick crust which really brought out the flavour of the meat. We ordered medium rare and the chef nailed the cook on it.

My partner also got the Crab and Seafood Bisque, which came with a huge portion of huge crab chunks as well as a delightful, creamy bisque. The bisque was served with Rigatoni pasta, which is the perfect carrier for all that creamy goodness.

We also ordered the Burrata to start, and it was as good as it gets. The Burrata was creamy and delightful. You have to try it to understand how good it was, words simply cant describe the harmony between the creamy burrata, tangy vinegraitte, and the delicious fish roe.

Tiramisu was a hit as well. The espresso they used really blended with the pastry. The cream was decadent but not cloggy.

All in all a fantastic experience especially with the attentive service from the waiters.

Had a lovely dinner date at Market Bistro the other night. Steak was tender and soft, great pairing with the wine! Highly recommend getting it! Ending the night with the tiramisu was good as it was not too heavy. Good service, would go back!

right in the middle of the CBD. had dinner at 7pm midweek, so there was not much of a crowd. restaurant had a great ambience and service was very prompt. we ordered the brussel sprouts for starters as recommended and it was easily the highlight of the meal!! ordered the duck confit and the steak followed by the tiramisu. overall an 8.5/10.
