Machida shoten is located at the japan food town at wisma atria. Noodles were thicker in version, and it was smooth and springy. Chashu was tender and juicy, and the egg yolks were runny.
I like how customisable they can for your meal, from the noodle, sauce to broth.
They are originated from Kanagawa Prefecture. I love the chashu and the broth was perfectly prepared based on my preference. $14.80++

Twirling away in the Regular bowl, crowned off with 3 Nori sheets, 2 Slices of Char siew, Spinach , and a marinated Ajitama.

Did you know @machidashotensingapore handmade their noodles thicker and is actually microscopically coarser and uneven? This enables the essence from the broth to grip on the strands.

Missing this fried rice, really one of the best I have eaten in Singapore haha. Although it’s $10, then again we have been paying this amount for rice and poke bowls right? This is a local fusion fried in wok with shrimps, dried chili flakes and eggs. Very flavourful and every single Japanese rice grain is nicely coated, don’t miss this even if you are here for the ramen.
My favourite ramen in Singapore!! And also cuz it’s not expensive (~$15) as compared to some overpriced ramen around town. Maybe it’s cuz I’m biased towards shoyu broths. The shoyu broth is super flavourful and noodles are springy and tasty, salivating as I think of this.
With fully customisable option, diners can opt for the doneness of their ramen noodles! Featured here is the Regular bowl, luxe off by 3 Nori sheets, 2 Slices of Char siew, Spinach and one Lava Ajitama.
