The broth was so fragrant, I smelt it a couple of stalls away...followed the nose to this awesome lamb meat soup stall at the market. Tender slices, the slow boil broth exploded with Flavours, richness and density... shiok! Nothing healthy about it (other than the ginger slices) but ohhhh so delicious. I was restrained from having a second bowl.
An extremely touristy night market and stall but I've got to say I really did like it! It’s rich and thick, not the watered down sort but still refreshing! It’s sweet but I like that the milk used here is much milder and doesn’t overpower the papayas. The queue can get quite long but it moves along very quickly. The stall owner is super friendly too!

Went on a hunt for the first ever bowl of Suan La Fen I've had in my life several years back in Taiwan - the bowl that got my sister and I hooked on all kinds of spicy China Chinese dishes, especially ma la! AND I FOUND IT. Somehow it wasn't as good as I remembered it to be, but still easily one of the better bowls around. Loved the thick q noodles that soaked up a good amount of that fiery and spicy sour broth, as well as the crunchy (but not too salty) pickled mustard stems. Go easy on the level of spice if you’re not a big fan as theirs are much higher than what we have in Singapore!

Small slabs of beef grilled well done while retaining it's juiciness and tenderness.
2 sizes to choose from. These are the smaller ones @ NT200 for 6 pieces of nicely grilled prawns sprinkled with salt on top.
8pcs for NT55. What a steal! The skin for these aren't super soft like I like them, but they're not too bad.
