Im a hoe for pistachio so I totally loved this. The tart base was buttery while the pistachio elements were STRONK. There was a little well with super thick and rich pistachio butter in the middle of the tart, which was absolutely glorious.

The taro paste is super smooth, natural and earthy while the crust has a crumbly texture and reminds me of oatmeal cookies. Plus its vegan, making it a great snack for everyone. One of the healthier taro tart options out there so id definitely recommend it!

Everyday I gain a deeper appreciation of vegan food. This tart from @lilac.oak is vegan and consists of a crumbly crust that reminds me of an oat cookie, and the fillings are a really natural and earthy tasting taro paste and sticky, slightly sweet pulut hitam.

Quite a bit of taro out there tastes super processed and overly sweetened, but Lilac Oak offers the real deal. Really satisfying and not jelak, definitely worth getting!

I've never tried mont blanc before, so this was my first time experiencing it. In theory, this sounds like a really exciting dessert, with the mont blanc being matcha flavoured and being encased within a tart, but I found that the flavours weren't as impressive as its concept.

The tart base wasnt super fragrant and was a bit thick, and the matcha taste was a bit too faint for my liking. As for the mont blanc, I couldnt really taste the chestnut elements either.

Wish the elements were stronger, however it is really pretty!

Presentation wise, this tart is absolutely stunning. The raspberries were super fresh and sweet, I found the pistachio element slightly underwhelming as it was only within the cream. Would have liked for it to be stronger.

Tart base could have been a bit more buttery but not bad! Really like the presentation.

Been seeing Delicatesse all over my feed for a while now and I finally went down to visit them. This Strawberry St Honore Tart stands out in particular because of the addition of whole macarons to its already loaded heap of fillings.

Honestly I was a little underwhelmed because the cream tasted a bit cheap and the strawberry flavour itself wasn't very natural. The tart base was a bit too thick too, and tasted a bit one dimensional. I did like the macarons though, they were crisp and chewy on the inside.

Has some improvements to be made in terms of the quality, but it does look pretty.

Green and salty, just how I like my nuts. I've seen lots of buzz around Nuage, and this Pistachio Strawberry Tart, in particular, stands out to me.

The pistachios are really generous, being crusted all around the tart. The strawberries are fresh and sweet and the pistachio cream is nutty and strong. Such a great tart!

Isnt she beautiful because damn what a tart. The lychee curd is smooth with a light lychee taste, and the little pink dollops of cream taste like strawberry cream yum yum. There are also bits of lychee flesh inside.

Really refreshing with a nice fruity taste, its a bit lighter on the palate compared to the rest.

Nutella lovers will enjoy this, the filling is basically creamy nutella and the tart is buttery.

🍋 Summer Lemon Tart ($7.90) (7.3/10)
Surprisingly this had a hint of saltiness and compared to other citrus tarts, its a lot milder in tartness. Not as sweet either.

🍪 Speculoos Cream Cheese Tart ($6.90) (9/10)
My favourite, the fillings are really gao as its all cookie butter and the cream cheese topping made it taste like a speculoos cheesecake!

Matcha fans wont be disappointed by this tart. The matcha taste is quite gao and the texture of the filling is thick and rich. Its mixed with white chocolate so it may be a little too sweet for some, however.

Nubbad and the size is pretty big too.

I like my chocolate the way I like my men: rich, strong and thick. And Whiskit's Valrhona Chocolate Tart is just that. The cocoa taste is very stronk and the fillings are hella thicc. Just eating a quarter of this was enough to satisfy my dessert cravings.

The tart base is really crunchy, which i enjoyed. A really great chocolate tart!

This tart comes with orh nee balls on top of a yam filling! The orh nee balls are really chewy and squishy, I was surprised because they SQUIRTED when I bit into them. Yeah they squirted. Squirtle. That's because they were actually filled with gula melaka syrup instead of the usual brown sugar dessicated coconut filling. Really interesting. Squirt.

The yam filling is really smooth and silky, it tastes like natural yam and its a bit on the savoury end. The tart base is super fragrant and crunchy, really good!
