The last meal for my first Germany trip and of course it has to be back to the local favourite foods.

Best Worscht in Town is a popular fast food chain in Frankfurt, this is where you can grab their combo to try everything.

The snackers combo comes with the bread, currywurst, fries and drink.

épi Boulangerie Patisserie is a French bakery serving various types of bread and cake.

It is a perfect place to grab some of their bread to go or enjoy in house with their drink selection.

They have a few outlets across Cologne.

Another popular place serving their signature fries with different addons.

You could see lots of people here would come to Frittenwerk to enjoy their fries.

There’s a few choices of addon that you can order to put on top of your fries.

For Tijuana Street Fries, you get a large potion of garlic fries with guacamole, sour cream and diced tomatoes.

For those who love vegetarian foods, you are in treat at Cologne!

Sattgrun is a interesting vegetarian restaurant offering buffet style of serving.

You just need to grab a plate based on the size you want and head over to the food section to take your foods.

As long as you can fit all your portion on the plate, you are good to go.

I’m truly impressed by the choices and taste. Definitely worth coming even you are not vegetarian.

I pretty surprised to find this vegetarian restaurant that served Vietnamese cuisine in Cologne, which called the “Well Being”.

Gotten the Com Tam (pork ribs rice), which is a famous Vietnamese street food. Since it is vegetarian, it was served with steamed tofu, spicy glass noodles, colourful organic salad, rice with grilled soy sauce and lime sauce.

It is definitely taste great and healthy. I would definitely recommend here if you visit Cologne and looking for some vegetarian foods next time.

With all the foods around, there’s definitely also some healthy food options here at Cologne.

Rich ‘N Greens is a place you could go for salad, wrap, burrito or bowl.

I gotten the mango chicken, which consist of mango, feta, peanut and curry mango sauce on the bowl. As for the bowl, it has the black bean, rice, sour cream and grated cheese.

I must say it was super refreshing and delicious, with all of them mixed together.

It is always feeling good when you visit a restaurant that can speak a common language with you.

While most restaurants do speak English, but of course with your own tongue language would be even better; especially when you are far from home.

This is a very popular Chinese restaurant that even attracted lots of locals coming for some Chinese foods.

Their dry wan za mian is mixed with minced pork paste, yellow peas, seasoned vegetables, spring onions, ginger and garlic. You also can choose the spicy level to add chilli on it.

Even in cold weather at Cologne, most of the indoor places remain warm. So it is still a good time getting some ice cream.

Eisfeld is probably a bit far off from the city centre of Cologne, located just beside Koln-Ehrenfeld station.

such as this raspberry flavour. Tasty and refreshing, they even added a piece of biscuit to go with your ice cream.

The Asian in me always still craving for some Asian foods oversea, even here at Cologne.

There’s plenty of Asian restaurants here and Daikan Izakaya Bar is one of the popular Japanese restaurant.

They served all sort of Japanese cuisine from sushi to ramen.

For something warm and creamy, I recommend to go for their miso ramen; and request it to be spicy.

It comes with tan tan chicken, ajitama egg, leek, spring onion, shallots and corn.

You could find lots of bakeries in Cologne, but prôt standup as the latest bakery shop prepared by Alex.

What interesting about this place is that they bake all their bread upfront at the shop, blending the shopfront. So you could catch them baking in action throughout the days.

Dinkelprôt is a light and airy 100% spelled bread, which is refined with a good portion of brewed and roasted spelled flakes.

As the Asian tourist, how could you leave any cities without having some bubble tea?

Being a tourist city i’m Germany, Cologne also have a few bubble tea shops around to satisfy your craving.

Onezo is a popular bubble tea shop in a few countries, including Singapore; which what we know as Playmade.

The taro latter is one of their top drink, as it featured generous amount of taro mixed together with milk.

Frites Belgique is a popular place to grab some of their signature fries. Comes with generous portion of fries for one person and you can choose the sauce you like to go with.
