Healthy indulgence with their rendition of an Asian salad. Star of the dish was the crispy fried rice paper, but otherwise I think this was rather overpriced.
The Earl Grey Pancakes here are unlike any other pancake I have ever tried, in Singapore or abroad! š„ Light, fluffy & wonderfully infused with the earthy flavours of earl grey, as a fan of the tea, I was sold with the very first bite. The poached pear was incredible too, we loved everything on the plate.
We also had the Croque Madame š„Ŗand Tsukune Chicken Burgerš, both of which were a delight to savour too.
I love the ambience of the cafe as well. The mesh of minimalism with industrial furnishings reminds me of the sophisticated cafes in Melbourne. Definitely paying a visit to PUNCH again for the delicious grub & groovy vibes š

Ordered the Carbonara and topped it up with black truffle. Noodles were cooked perfectly al-dente, the egg made the dish extra creamy while the black truffle added that oomph the dish needed. Would order again!

If youāre planning on making a visit here, definitely make a reservation! There was a long waiting line when we visited on a weekend.
Apart from that, this place offers great ambience and a generous myriad of food and drink options. No wonder itās so popular.
I had my first taste of the Impossible Burger here, and it was a pleasant surprise. The texture mimicked exactly that of a beef burger but the earthy flavours of the plant alternative still shone through. It was perfectly juicy though. Another star of the dish was the crisp sweet potato fries, we couldnāt help but reach for more despite how full we were!

If youāre searching for a unique pasta dish, look no further! SUPās Duck Confit Hazelnut pasta is my absolute favourite for its earthy flavours from the masala cream and crunchy hazelnuts. Served with fresh pasta and shreds of duck confit, this is a must-try!

I had been eager to try this curious looking burnt cheesecake ever since The Kinsā opened and Iāve heard so many good things about it!
Safe to say, it met expectations š this anti-cheesecake is everything a cheesecake shouldnāt be: burnt, jiggly & without the usual biscuit base. Despite all that, Iād say this is my new favourite way of enjoying cheesecake š„°. It was light & my mum said it was reminiscent of the BAKE Hokkaido cheese tarts, just without the tart. Pretty accurate description I would say.
As someone who spent 2 years exploring Melbourneās cafĆ© scene, I thought Five Oars perfectly mimicked the ambience and aesthetics of a typical cafĆ© there. Great for Instagram pictures and catching up with friends.
Ordered the Crab Scramble ($18) which I personally thought fell short of expectations for the price. The sourdough toast was a tad too hard and there wasnāt enough crabmeat. The other components were fresh and the dish was very cohesive though.
