Empress pasta no longer avail for BB :( So we settled for fish & chips ($20) + carbonara ($20). Carbonara was pretty decent and very saucy (wasn’t too jelat for me too). Fish was fresh too! Paid a total of $23 for 2 dishes after BB so it was super worth.
⭐️ 3.5/5, will be back to try their fusion food
Dishes came with generous amount of ingredients and were very fresh. Will highly recommend the linguine. Hokkien mee was quite decent but wouldn’t be worth without BB. Had half a pint of beer for $6 too!

$7 each for Grilled Fish & Chicken Chop. Like how they serve with a bun and baked beans, the old fashioned way. Fries were very crsipy and both chicken and fish were seasoned well!

Burpple 1-for-1 Baramuddi Fish & Chips and Laksa Pesta Pasta for $22.65. Not a huge fan of fish & chips but I really enjoyed the one here - fish was fresh and its batter was very crispy. The pasta got the flavours of laksa on point (spice was just nice for me and seafood was very fresh), but the sauce wasn’t as smooth as I expected. Taste of herbs may be too strong for some.
One complaint is the cleanliness of the place.... water was served with stains on the glass 🤢 and wall had an army of ants crawling around (we sat directly in front of the wall and tried to hard to UNsee it) 🤧 we just wanted to finish our meal asap and leave LOL
Do make a reservation in advance as the place is small and lack manpower
⭐️ fish&chips: 4.5/5, laksa pesto pasta: 3.5/5 - worth only with BB
Place had a few sharing platters that are great to go with beer! Nice place to hang out and chill with friends/family. Reasonably priced food and tastes not bad.
Pretty normal rosti but love the crepes from Marche, definitely a must get if you like sweet-savoury flavours! Slightly pricey food :(

Really good food and worth the price (dessert is included too)! The roasted chicken is always a must get when I visit poulet 🤤

Carbonara was creamy (but not jelat). The taste of the sauce reminded me of campbell soup but not complaining though, it’s not bad. Will drop by if I’m around the area!

Had a really good spicy kick to it and was definitely much spicier than normal aglio olios. Portion was quite small but worth with 1-for-1 Burpple deal! Tasted not bad but preferred the tom yum over this.
⭐️ 3.5/5
Used Burpple 1-for-1 pasta for this and we loved the tom yum flavours so much! This pasta is on the spicier side but I loved how the tom yum sauce coated every strand of the pasta like GAO GAO 😚
Sweet potato fries ($6.50) was average but good to share and quite worth the price.
⭐️ 4/5, taste-wise was good but the servings of the pasta here is quite small tbh, not sure if I’ll be back if there’s no burpple deal. Really good service too!!
Came here for our anniversary and really loved the night vibes. Food-wise, only the prawn side dish was impressive :( The Aglio Olio with Roasted Pork Belly ($21) was disappointing - pasta was ok-tasting and was expecting the pork belly to be crispy but NoPe (i think even some hawker stalls does it better). Roasted half chicken was not bad but nothing special.
Came for the happy hour $7 draught beer promo that says from 5pm-8pm on their menu but guess what, it doesn’t apply if you make the payment after 8pm 🤦🏻♀️ That’s how we ended up paying full price for the beer. Don’t make the same mistake as us... the staff and menu didn’t even make it clear to us too...
Managed to end the meal on a good note with brownie with ice cream ($9) :~)
⭐️ 3.5/5, PSA: CHECK OUT BEFORE 8PM IF U ARE HERE FOR DRINKS HAPPY HOUR. Also, if you want the seat closer to the ‘sea’, do call in advance to request.
Truffle fries ($16) are always a MUST GET!!! Super huge portion and was too much for 2 pax, I had to takeaway. King prawn aglio olio had lots of garlic in it and was fragrant, prawns were fresh as well. Ambience wise, I would recommend going to the Fullerton branch instead for more vIbEsssss ✌🏼
