came here for solid burgers and was not disappointed :-) got the 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝟎𝟎𝟏 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟐++) containing a robust piece of meat patty that was nicely charred with caramelised onions. at certain points i thought i tasted lamb?¿ personally not a fan of that, but on the whole everything came together rly well! shoutout to the buns bc it was so buttery and crisp at the edges 😍 defo one of better burger buns i’ve tasted. the 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟏++) was also pretty solid and flavourful - would get again! the drinks however were q ex (~SGD16++) for 1 pint though it was good 😊

here’s the salmon steak - was alright for $19+ iirc. portion was decent although i felt that the salmon was a tid bit over cooked. anw regardless will defo still come back bc the vibes are 💯 esp on friday and saturday nights where there is live singing in this cozy lil environment w everyone singing along :’) service is amazing and the boss is rly nice too :>

tried this secluded restaurant a while back and the vibes are to die for 💯 super pretty w flowers all around in a quiet neighbourhood :’) food was q meh tbh haha got the pesto parpadelle pasta ($20++) and the pasta was q soft and not al dente 😢 (although some ppl might like it this style) the sauce was a bit too watery for my liking too. we also got the wagyu striploin with peppers ($18++) - seasoning was nubbad, reminded me of satay. my fav was the heaven’s queen drink ($8++) tho HAHA. it was shiok and refreshing :-) overall i think i’ll j come here for the vibes and to getaway from the crowd 😬

fish wasn’t as fresh as i had remembered the last time i ate it but it it still super crisp and fried to perfection. portion is big and student promo comes with free flow drinks too!

rly loved this pizza!! seafood was good & crust was crisp & it’s a 💯 vibe

back after exams and holidays and other crazy stuff. anw used the burpple 1-1 promo for this 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟓.𝟗𝟎) and it was okay….HAHA. the pesto taste was definitely there, but it wasn’t as strong as i had hoped. i liked that the pasta was al dente tho, and that the chicken was tender. overall i feel it’s pretty overpriced without the burpple so prob won’t be back :-(

we waited almost 1h for a seat lol so PLS reserve!! anw the pasta was nubbad - a very generous serving and flavourful green curry! liked that the curry was q spicy also which is shiOk!!

chanced upon this cafe hidden in a hdb region and decided to try their 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐛𝐨𝐰𝐥 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟒+) as i’ve read rave reviews about it! beef was cooked to a fixed done-ness (looked medium well to me at least), nothing spectacular but i love that they serve not typical white rice but spiced rice. my fam also got other dishes like fish and chips and tbh i think everything is q nice HAHA. price is also pretty good also so defo worth checking this place out!

i don’t normally patronise western stalls from hawker centers / coffee shops but i think it speaks of a certain standard already when this western stall owns the entire coffee shop? 🤪 anw here’s the classic 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟒), which consisted of a generous serving of tender chicken thigh and mashed potato. defo worth it for the price point :-)

came here for a saturday lunch before getting some acad gainz at nlb 🤓 anw here’s 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡’𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟑.𝟗𝟎++) it rly was MASSIVE and super crispy!!! what i liked about it was the ratio of batter to onion is prob 1:9 lol HAHA but i like that bc it feels a bit more health & also brings out the onion flavour more. i also got the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐩 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟎.𝟗𝟎++) as my main. it’s supposed to come with a spicy dynamite sauce which to me tasted just like the mcdonald’s chilli sauce 😅 but chicken was still a lil spicy and decent. wouldn’t say it’s mind blowing good but it’s pretty cheap. sides were decent too - fries a bit salty (but good!) and brussell sprouts had a bit of a funny butter taste (sry don’t know how to describe lol). but i think it’s still pretty good for the price they offer! nice place for meals and good for my wallet ✨

tried the 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐢 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟓.𝟗𝟎++) and omg reviews were right,,,,the salmon portion was so generous and this dish was just FLOODED with cheese. every bite was so creamy & cheesy and just 😍 the ravioli contained one type of cheese but the dish was also melted with another type of cheese. wow seriously impressed. got a bit jelat in the end so i think it’s good for sharing but overall defo super worth the price especially with burpple + the vibe is nice & cute with friendly staff so plus point!!!

here’s the 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟏𝟑.𝟗𝟎)!! loved that the pasta was cooked al dente and overall it was a good dish with decent portions of vegetables,,,,,,it’s just that i rmb eating their chicken thigh and the portion of chicken given was humongous and also it was the same price as this pasta HAHA. defo more worth to get the meat dishes here i feel haha. but quality of food here is generally good 👍
