Mazesoba aka Dry Ramen, some people describe this as the Japanese Bak Chor Mee. I'll choose Mazesoba over Bak Chor Mee anytime. The best way to enjoy Mazesoba is to add some vinegar and mix everything evenly. The limited edition Lobster Mazesoba came with spring onions, diced tomatoes, seaweed, sous vide egg, minced lobster meat, and a lobster claw. I like the lobster claw, it tastes like a crispy lobster croquette stuffed with creamy fillings. Tsukemen aka dipping noodles, the broth is usually very rich because it’s meant for dipping. Tsukemen is not as common as ramen in sg, not everyone knows how to appreciate it. I actually like tsukemen more than ramen. Tried the limited edition Uni Tsukemen here and I was blown away! The noodles are thick & bouncy. I chose the one with all toppings which includes seaweed, char siew, ajitama, bamboo shoots, and uni. The broth is thick and rich and packed with umami. Luckily it was just mildly spicy, if not I’ll be crying 😂. The pain about eating Tsukemen is that the soup turns cold after a few dips. I like that they actually help you to reheat the soup when it turns cold. Not all restaurants will be this thoughtful. The Uni is fresh and creamy, just a little bit of it enhances the umami to the next level. とても美味しいですね！😋

1st outlet in SG. Chose the Black King 黒王 flavor: Fragrant blackened garlic & squid in a silky broth with Chashu(Lean Shoulder Meat), Minced Pork Ball with black sesame & Nagi Spices. If you're on a date, I suggest you choose another flavor cos your teeth & lips will turn black while eating this. Since I'm on a date with myself, I don't have to care abt image. 😂 Their service is pretty gd, they provide their in-house Nagi Chips & barley tea for you while waiting in the queue. The best part is you can customize your soup base and the firmness of your noodles. Since it's my 1st time trying, I chose normal for all. The soup is really rich, it's a bit salty for me. If you have healthy taste buds like me then choose light nx time. You can also choose shoulder or belly meat for the Chashu. Their ramen noodles are thinner than usual, you can choose the firmness. Overall quite gd, I'll be back to try the Original King & Green King next time since it's just opp the gym. 😄🍜

Conveniently located near the gym, this is one of my fav ramen places for my cheat meals. Just the Original King(BUTAO) 豚王🐷🍜 is enough to make me happy. I like how I’m able to customize the ramen just the way I like. This is how I like the soup base to be.

Garlic: Heavy
Their ramen noodles are handmade and thinner than usual, you can choose the firmness, I usually choose normal or firm.

Finally get to try the famous Tori King 🍜. The chicken thigh is so tender, it was easily separated from the bones. The broth is really rich and thick, even though I chose light broth, it’s still a bit salty for me. Free eggs & beansprouts means free flow protein for me! 🤩
