Amongst the chic danish-style interior & al-fresco seating @dough.coffee, lies a cafe-cum-bakery featuring a variety of fancy pastries like 🥨Kouign Amann, 🍵🥯Matcha Mochi Bun, 🍓🍞Strawberry Brioche, all starting at $5 (unlike a regular cafe, their bakery is self-service☺️). For a more filling meal, there were 6 in-house mains offered, and we tried their 🍽Rosti ($26) — pretty pricey but they managed to pull off the flavors together well 😋

Weekends are nearing, and being no stranger to the cafe scene at Kampong Bahru since 2012, we visited here mainly just to enjoy amazing coffee and hearty meals😋 Definitely a place worth visiting!! 😄

Living up to the quality food to our palate, the generous Truffle Tagliatelle pasta was easily our favourite dish, cooked al dente along with their nearly perfect mushroom sauce, strong truffle taste and flavourful!! 😋 And as always, their buttermilk waffles texture was crisp and soft on the inside too 🙌🏻

It felt so familiar when I set foot inside this cafe, but due to their new opening hours, you can drop by anytime before their last order at 4pm 🙌🏻

🧀🥐🥔 Croque Monsieur ($15) — Google this term up and it will give you a search result of a French version “baked/grilled ham and cheese sandwich”. Butter taste on the croque was on point and not so dry than expected although I wanted to get more of that melted cheese. Nevertheless, portion was so much bigger than expected! 🥞 Pandan Pancake ($12) — Choice of either Vanilla or Coconut ice cream, oh and extremely generous scoop of it! We went with Coconut flavor as we thought Vanilla might be too basic HAHA 😛 Anyway, it was supposed to be their SG50 special but they kept it on their menu ever since due to high demand! And we were glad they did because the pancake was fluffy yet bursting with Singaporean pandan flavour 😋
🥓🥔 Rosti with Bratwurst ($18) — Gotta give plus points to their Rosti! Topped with sausage and sour cream, the golden brown and moist texture from the potatoes gave the rosti a crispy yet not so oily texture which we enjoyed the most and were able to finish it in every bite 👍🏻
🥤☕️ Iced Latte ($6.20) & Spiced Chai Latte ($6) — I’m sure there are many good coffees nearby but what’s special here is that they have a variety of basic coffees, specialized latte/mocha, all ranging at affordable prices from $4-$6.50! By the way, I love it when cafes like Tolido’s do latte art on your cup of coffee, definitely a plus point!! 😍 PSST, they also have 1 for 1 coffee at 3-4pm 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♂️ .

. 🍳 Spiced Scrambled ($18) — Topped with scrambled eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms on top of the toast, it’s surprisingly flavorful and also appealing to look at! 🤗
🥗 Kale Me Now ($15) — More veges including snow peas and cauliflower. Try this if you are a fan of mushrooms!! Loving the crispy kale on top, it gives a great crunchiness to the dish in overall! 👍🏻

☕️ Exclusive selections only available at this outlet!! Have you wondered why are there unique lattes in pink and blue? Those are the Blue Bell and Beetroot Latte ($6-$6.50) — Try it if you want to try something new/exotic flavors!
❗️What we liked the most was the Coconut Cheesecake ($8.50) — Flaky base but loving the touch of coconut toppings on top of the cheesecake. Sharing 1 might not be enough 😋
